Amity Rubeor, DO, CAQSM
Dr.Amity Rubeor is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine. Dr. Rubeor graduated from The College of William and Mary and then completed her medical training at the University of New England, where she completed a pre-doctoral fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She did her family medicine training at the Brown Family Medicine Residency Program and completed an academic medicine fellowship with Lancaster General Family Medicine. She worked as faculty for the Brown Family Medicine Residency for seven years, focusing her teaching in sports medicine, but practicing full spectrum family medicine. She then completed her sports medicine fellowship at the Brown University-Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.
Dr. Rubeor continues to work as an assistant professor (clinical) in the department of family medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She enjoys teaching and has been fortunate to receive multiple awards from the medical students, residents and colleagues with whom she has worked. In 2017, The Rhode Island Academy Of Family Physicians recognized Dr. Rubeor as Family Medicine Teacher of the Year (Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School, Dept of Family Medicine); and In 2024, Dr. Rubeor was recognized by her peers as a Top Doctor in Rhode Island Monthly’s annual poll for her Sports Medicine expertise.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Rubeor enjoys caring for families and athletes of all ages. She has a special interest in performance medicine and sports ultrasound.
