Alexandra Harnois, FNP

Alexandra joined the Family Health and Sports Medicine team in November of 2022. She was born and raised in southern New Jersey before leaving to attend the University of Rhode Island on a full athletic scholarship for rowing. Upon completing her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Alex worked at Miriam Hospital from 2011 to 2016. She also received her Master of Science in Nursing from URI, and has worked in the role of family nurse practitioner in primary care, urgent care, and college health services. Alex is certified by the AANPCB and is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Rhode Island. Alex believes in compassionate and accessible healthcare for all, with a strong focus on preventative medicine and patient education. In her free time, Alex enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors and beaches of South County where she lives with her husband and two young daughters, and spending time with family and friends.
